It is clarified that CEUS WORLD, S.L. is not responsible for the processing of personal data in the «CEUS BUSINESS» application. In the latter, the data will be managed by public or private entities, which will be responsible for the processing of such data.

2. Purposes of the Processing

For CEUS APP:

  • Recommend nearby tourist places (beaches that best suit the user’s preferences and needs) through a geolocation system.
  • Facilitate efficient and safe management of natural aquatic spaces by recording incidents on beaches by rescue and lifeguard services.

For CEUS BUSINESS:

  • Management of user accounts and passwords for restricted access to the application.
  • Recording of lifeguards’ check-in and check-out times.
  • Documentation and management of incidents occurring on the beaches, including data of accident victims.
  • Facilitate the location and response to incidents through the geolocation of lifeguards.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

For CEUS APP:

  • The consent of the data subject for one or more specific purposes (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).
  • The necessity to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person (Article 6.1.d of the GDPR).

For CEUS BUSINESS:

  • The performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, in this case, the contract for the provision of rescue and lifeguard services.
  • The legitimate interest of the data controller to ensure safety and efficiency in managing beach incidents.
  • The consent of the data subject, concerning the geolocation of the lifeguard.

4. Rights of the Users

Users have the right to:

  • Access their personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request the deletion of their personal data when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Request the restriction of the processing of their personal data.
  • Object to the processing of their personal data for reasons related to their particular situation.

  • Withdraw the consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal.
